End of the Dream

Hey all! Finally getting around to posting 's commission! She asked me to draw her beautiful characters, Ran (girl in purple) and Kajin and they were so much fun to draw. They had a wonderful elaborate story that mostly took place in a dream while their characters were really in these comatose dream states, and I wanted to draw the end of that, or them coming back to reality, essentially led by a light. To me, the end of a dream isn't always a bad thing. Sure, while a dream can be beautiful it's also a sort of artifice, or a lie and sometimes coming back to a reality that's just as good is okay, and it's needed. Reality can be much more honest and that honesty can open lots of new doors for growth that an idyllic dream maybe could not have. 

Just something I've been thinking about.
